Re: sushi house
Mon, March 19, 2007 - 8:51 AMdecent cheap sushi joint. very very crowded. I've discovered the ordering takeout by phone (or email perhaps). doing it that way was certainly much faster service. Never under any circumstances think that this might be a good place to take someone for a fancy time. wait staff can be surly and impatient. But yet, I still return! -

Re: sushi house
Mon, March 19, 2007 - 9:00 AMI go there frequently. I have great staff experiences and I have very bad staff experiences, but it's cheap, and the price/quality ratio is quite high, IMO (that's why I still go there, even though the staff piss me off sometimes).

Re: sushi house
Tue, March 27, 2007 - 9:12 AMI went there. I thought it was kinda dirty the place. I thought the rolls were very big especially their rice portions. Service was medicore. I guess 'cause they were sort of busy we went there about 3PM on a Sunday. I wouldn't recommend their beef sukiyaki it was terribly sweet and bland. There nigri sushi was ok too. -

Wed, March 28, 2007 - 5:39 PMit's been a whie, but the times I've went, it was always a weeknight, and the place was totally packed, often with lots of Asian female Cal students - I've no idea why.

Re: sushi house
Tue, October 2, 2007 - 8:25 PMI went there a lot more than a year back but after they got really busy the quality went down a bit I have both gotten some bad rolls a cold Lion King roll that was just hot on one side and raw on the other. And bad service where we had to ask for the same missing thing 3 times. The place has changed a lot since they moved from a small place in the shopping center next door. Their lunch is still good and cheap.
After I discovered Yellow Tail on Park a half year ago I have barely been at the Sushi House. -

Wed, October 3, 2007 - 11:07 AMFor me it's all about Yokahama on Webster. Small, family run, not fancy, but super fresh. Great stuff.
